A delegation hedaded by Dr. Mr. Jalal NAELI, Head of Department in the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Dr. Mr. Hossein Ali GHARİP, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and relevant sector representatives visited our General Directorate on 20.06.2018.

Within the scope of the visit, Mr. İsmet KESKİN, our Deputy General Director, Mr. Turhan ÖZ, Head of Catalogue Department and the related staff of our Office participated in the meeting headed by Mr. Mücahit CİVRİZ, our General Director.

Information on the countries and institutions was mutually shared in the meeting.

Mr. CİVRİZ made a presentation on detailed information such as;

• History, legal structure and legislation of DMO,
• Role and positioning of DMO in public procurement,
• Procurement methods, product groups sold,
• Sales amounts and percentages according to product groups,
• Structure of buyer and supplier,
• Share of domestic production in purchases,
• E-tender application,
• Health sector and structure of hospitals in Turkey,
• The Protocol with the Ministry of Health under the structural transformation in health industry and Healthcare Products Market Application.

Dr. Mr. Hossein Ali GHARİP, on behalf of the Ministry of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran, provided information on the procurement of health supplies in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting was concluded with mutual cooperation and good will requests.
