Turkish Atomic Energy Authority's Radiopharmaceutical Products are at DMO!
A protocol was signed between the State Supply Office (DMO) and the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK) on 09.01.2020 in order to supply through DMO radiopharmaceutical products produced at TAEK Proton Accelerator Facility.
Mr. Suat Ünal, Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority, Mr. Mücahit Özdemir, our Director General, and the officials of the two institutions attended the signing ceremony held at the Directorate General of State Supply Office.
With the Protocol signed, the radiopharmaceutical products needed by the Ministry of Health and its affiliated institutions/organizations and other public institutions and organizations in need deemed appropriate by the Directorate General of State Supply Office will be procured from Turkish Atomic Energy Authority through DMO.
Radiopharmaceuticals to be included in the scope of the protocol will be determined by obtaining the opinion of the Ministry of Health and by mutual agreement between the parties and will be provided in accordance with the issues within the scope of the protocol through the purchasing system prepared by DMO by taking the opinions of TAEK and Ministry of Health officials. Customer institutions other than the Ministry of Health will also be able to procure products through this system, but DMO will be able to determine different criteria for those institutions.
