DMO Takes Necessary Measures to Avoid Disruption in Providing Services to Suppliers and Customers

The Corona Virus (Covid-19) Epidemic, which has been globally spreading, poses a public health threat to the whole world, and necessary measures are taken in our country in this context.

In this process, necessary preparations were made to ensure that the process is carried out in case additional measures are taken to minimize the problems that may occur in the works and transactions carried out by our Directorate General with its internal and external stakeholders and to prevent the spread of the disease in our country. Within the scope of the Presidential circulars published on the subject, necessary measures have been taken in order to prevent any disruption in the provision of services to our suppliers and public institutions and organizations.

At this point, our Directorate General has completed the technical infrastructure preparations for all transaction processes that can be transferred to the on-line platform. Action plans have been prepared for the smooth execution of business and transaction processes.

Within this context;

  • Flexible working methods such as remote working and rotational working have been put into practice, provided that a minimum number of personnel are available to meet the need, so as not to disrupt the works and operations, especially the main business processes.
  • With particular attention to health procurement, efforts will be continued to ensure that the needs of our hospitals in this regard are met without interruption.
  • A special team will always be available to meet the urgent needs of the Ministry of Health.
  • Transactions regarding the fuel demands of public institutions and organizations will continue without interruption.
  • Processes that can be carried out on-line will be activated immediately and transactions will be carried out digitally.
  • Considering the sensitivity of meeting the urgent social needs of the public and minimizing the negative effects of the epidemic on the country’s economy and markets through public procurement, special teams created will be kept ready at all times and many processes will be continued with on-line communication tools.
  • Depending on whether the product groups regarding the contract or order are imported or domestic, both import difficulties and raw materials and similar difficulties in production will be followed in miscellaneous or catalogue procurement, and protective approaches will be shown in the fulfillment of the contract or order obligations of the companies.
  • The companies’ remuneration payments will continue without interruption.
