Mr. Mehmet ABBASOĞLU, the CEO of Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. and his team paid a congratulatory visit to our Director General, Mr. Şinasi CANDAN. Information was exchanged regarding the implementation process of the contract signed between DMO and POAŞ for the new period in the fuel supply of public institutions and organizations.

Within the scope of our Directorate General’s financial intermediation service as of 2020, in the fuel supply covered through KamuTOS (Public Fuel Vehicle Automation System) with active vehicles reaching 120,000, a 3-year contract was signed with Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. as a result of the tender and with this contract, the total discount rate was determined as 5.45%. It was decided that 4% of the total discount rate obtained would be applied to public institutions and organizations and 1.45% would be determined as the Fuel Financial Intermediation Fee.

In addition, based on the ratio of the discount, obtained in the tender, to the total margin, the discount rate will be updated every 6 months, effective from the second periods of February and August, and will be announced to all our stakeholders.

Within the scope of the visit, evaluations were made about the processes carried out so far in the public fuel supply, and that this fuel supply is an important work that provides added value to the public in terms of standardization and savings with the central purchasing power of DMO was among the prominent topics of the meeting.
