Within the scope of cooperation between the Governorship of Gaziantep, the Directorate General of the State Supply Office, and the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO), the “DMO Healthcare and Medical Products Supplier Days” meeting was held on 18.02.2025, hosted by the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry.

The meeting began with the participation of Mr. Kemal ÇEBER, the Governor of Gaziantep, Mr. Bülent UYGUR, Deputy Governor, Mr. Adil Sani KONUKOĞLU, Chairman of the GSO Assembly, Mr. Başar KÜÇÜKPARMAK, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Board Members. During the meeting, Mr. Şinasi CANDAN, DMO Director General, Dr. Mehmet KOCA, Deputy Director General, Mrs. Gökçe KAPTAN and Mr. Turhan ÖZ, Department Heads and Mr. Özcan ŞAHİN, DMO Gaziantep Regional Director provided information to current and prospective suppliers through their speeches and presentations.

Following the opening speeches, participants were provided with guiding and informative insights on such topics as public procurement in Türkiye and around the world, high-level policies, strategic goals and projects, areas of activity and practices, the Healthcare Products Market, the role of the State Supply Office in domestic and national production, goods and service groups, and procurement methods. It was emphasized that the State Supply Office continues, as in the past, to fulfill its mission of using public resources efficiently and supporting domestic production with determination. The requests, suggestions, and evaluations of sector representatives were also discussed in the meeting.
