Transition Continues With Digital Transition Movement

  • Updated date : 07.31.2018

Among the innovative policies determined in the direction of our country's 2023 objectives, public digital transition has a quite important place. Transition of services offered by public to the business world in an integrated structure, digital communication, keeping data in the digital environment, and the interaction of public institutions in the services offered are among the components that will put this transition into practice.

It is vital that processes are transparent, fast and traceable in order that the citizen-focused service approach is carried out successfully. E-government applications created in this direction gradually include many services into their platforms. With the bureaucratic processes being reduced, public services are offered more quickly and reliably.

In addition, it is vital for our economy that electronic commerce is getting more and more common together with the increasing reliance on digitalization and online transactions, which results in the increase of extent of business in trade services and that the use of domestic and national products is promoted.

In line with these developments, we, as Directorate General of State Supply Office, have initiated a structural transformation process so as to enable more qualified and proper services provided for public institutions and organizations in our ecosystem as well as for our suppliers.

We continue this transition process, that we set off with the motto, “Let’s Become the Builder of Transition”, with “Digital Transition Movement”.

Together with this digitalization project;

  • Simplification of the documents brought by our suppliers and reducing the workload of our suppliers through getting integrated with relevant institutions and enabling that documents are electronically uploaded, acceleration of application processes and enabling of file tracking,
  • Providing transparent, reliable and fast procurement for public institutions and organizations through the digital realization of all the works and transactions carried out by the buyers and becoming a mediator for public institutions to provide more efficient solutions for their stakeholders,
  • Ensuring high transparency and competition in public procurement with electronic tender being applied in all the tenders, ,
  • Mediating for the SMEs, which are among the key stakeholders of our economy, to develop and transform together with their keeping up with digital transfomation,
  • Achieving the most efficient work with the common sense by including at the highest level the human resource that will carry out this transformation,
