‘‘A Cooperation Protocol in the field of Cyber Security’’ was signed between our General Director and Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) on 07.11.2018. President of Defence Industries Mr. Prof. Dr. İsmail DEMİR, our General Director Mr. Mücahit CİVRİZ and the institution authorities attended in the signing ceremony which conducted at the Presidency of Defence Industries.

General Director of The State Supply Office (DMO) Mr. CİVRİZ, who spoke at the signing ceremony, stated that The State Supply Office has implemented a Value-Based Development Approach along with a new business model and a Saving-Focused Procurement Approach and is involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem with Techno Catalog Platform. In addition, “This protocol, is a very pivotal step in Turkey's development story and the success story of entrepreneurs. The announcement of cyber security as the 5th area of war also shows the significance of this issue.’’ he said.

Within the scope of the signed protocol, established under the auspices of the Presidency of Defense Industries of Turkish Cyber Security Cluster, the companies which are comprised by this cluster will be brought together with the public institutions and the products of the companies will be included in the Techno Catalog of The State Supply Office.

With the protocol, it is aimed at making public institutions and organizations use domestic and national infrastructure in cyber security software and information technologies and developing new strategies for them to promote their preference of domestic and national products.
